We don't know how much the new Scout EVs will weigh.

The gas-electric Scout will probably be the heaviest one because of the gas engine.

These new EVs are huge. Could they be heavier than the Hummer EV, which is like 10klbs?

I’ve been wondering about the weight of the new Scout EVs too! Given how big these new EVs are, I wouldn’t be surprised if they rival the Hummer EV’s 10,000 lbs. Considering the gas-electric Scout will likely be heavier due to the engine, it could push even more weight, but I’m guessing the EV version might be more comparable to the Hummer once you factor in the batteries. Either way, it’s going to be interesting to see how the weight impacts performance and range

It's possible! With the new EVs being larger, they might surpass the Hummer EV’s weight, especially with added features.

Okay, so they're not giving us all the juicy details on the powertrain yet, but they're talking about dual motors and a whopping 1,000 lb-ft of torque! Scout says it can hit 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds – that's pretty impressive. They're using that fancy 800-volt system with the Tesla charging port, so you can juice it up super fast, up to 350 kilowatts.

This thing is built to get dirty. It's got a solid rear axle, you can disconnect the front sway bar, and it has two locking differentials. They keep mentioning how 'robust' the suspension is, so I'm expecting it to handle some serious off-roading.

Scout says it has a foot of ground clearance, can wade through 3 feet of water, and can even handle tires up to 35 inches! That's pretty serious. It can tow up to 7,000 pounds, which is a bit less than the Rivian, but still plenty for most people. I'm really curious to see what this thing can do.
