Scout Steering wheel gimmick or feature?

The Scout concept definitely appeals to me, however I'm not sure I agree with the square-ish steering wheel. Although it's a novel design decision, I don't think it's the best course of action. A conventional round wheel appears to be a more aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic choice.

I’m with you on the skepticism. The square-ish design looks cool in pictures, but I can’t imagine it being super comfortable for long drives or tight maneuvers. A traditional round wheel just seems more practical and intuitive. Maybe they’ll offer both options? Fingers crossed they stick to function over form when it hits production!
